AH-PALS Portable Airfield Lighting System

AH-PALS Portable Airfield Lighting System is specially used on permanent airport/heliport where cable power is not convenient or temporary helipad, especially for medivac and other emergency situations.

Highly portable and easy to install the portable landing zone kit provides temporary illumination of any military or

civilian helicopter landing surface or airfield.

Features

Electrical

The light unites are available with aeronautical colors and infrared (IR) lights. The basic airfield / helicopter landing zone function include: TLOF perimeter (green), threshold (green), runway end (red), runway (white), approach (white) lights, flood Lights

Physical

The system is self-contained in a easy to transport ruggedized suitcase(with wheels and handle) that includes a set of light units and other equipment to support the landing.

Portable lights are supplied by rechargeable batteries and an “drop in” charger in suitcase. The batteries are recharged by simply inserting the lights into their slot and connecting the external power to the suitcase.
